We intend our website to be useful to prospective parents looking for a failure to launch program for young adults. Our program has transitioned young adults into independent living and adulthood for over 30 years. If you have questions that need answers please feel free to contact us by phone, email, or the contact form on this page. When you contact us we can provide an initial screening to see if Penrith Farms is the right fit for your family.
Our website is also available as a resource to anyone in need of information about these types of services. We try to answer many of the questions that are weighing heavy on some people’s minds. What is a program for young adults at risk? What is a troubled young adult? Are these types of services right for me? If you are seeking information and not finding what you need please contact us. Penrith Farms is more than willing to point people in the right direction.
One group of people we cannot help is young adults under the age of 18. Penrith Farms is setup to provide emotional growth to young adults that want to make changes in their lives. That requires a couple of things. Primarily it requires an individual to come on their own volition. That is not to discount individuals court ordered to come to Penrith Farms. But the majority of individuals that come to Penrith Farms come under their own free will. Change requires a willingness to change and we cannot force someone to make changes.
Penrith Farms can provide an environment in which anyone can succeed if they want to. We can give honest and direct feedback to struggling young adults but in the end, we are a simple working farm that young adults volunteer to come to. Our feeling is that this volunteer action requires a certain sense of majority that can be lacking in many under the age of 18.
So please, no matter what your situation, contact us. We are more than willing to help no matter your circumstances. We will hear from you soon. Thank you for your time.
